SELLING YOUR PROPERTY
PREPARATION
Deciding to sell your property, could be the start of a long and arduous journey.
Here are a few steps you may wish to consider prior to any valuation.
When trying to sell your home, always imagine you're a buyer.
Repairs
If your property has obvious faults, now is the time to fix them. Neglecting to invest in a £200 repair, can, very easily, reduce an offer by £1000.
Remember, all buyers are looking for reasons to reduce their offer. Don't give them an open invitation.
Decoration
Most buyers would prefer not to move into a property that requires extensive re-decoration. Taking a buyers stance will help you to decide if your property would benefit from decorating, if the answer is yes, do so in neutral colours and soft tones, this scheme has less chance of reacting violently with a buyers existing furnishings.
Outside View
The first impression of your home will be formed by any buyer by viewing the outside.
Take time to consider its aspect from a buyers viewpoint. Remove any rubbish and keep clutter free.
If you don't consider the outside view, the chances are, prospective buyers won't consider taking an inside one.
SALE
Once charged with the sale of your property:
We will arrange, by mutual agreement, a time for one of our experienced representatives to visit your home with a view to advise on the most appropriate and beneficial method of sale, marketing and realistic market valuation.
ACQUISITION
As a prospective buyer of a property being marketed by us, you will require the services of an experienced, qualified surveyor and valuer.
We will be pleased to arrange these services on your behalf, and if required negotiate the purchase.
